I shared article "why we still need to advocate for women's voices" & got an angry email saying the article is "completely false", "a downright lie" & "fake news" that "does not help any cause whatsoever." Spoiler alert: they're wrong.

Thanks for inviting me to be on the panel. Great to hear a myriad of views, and glad to have clarified that we have never had a referendum on on proportional representation.

People like and are often dismissed as ‘radical’ or ‘out of touch’. But the reality is: their radicalism is the future. While the planet is heating up, it's the so-called 'moderates' who are out of touch.

Escaping into a book is our favourite thing, and we recently found ourselves in Japan following the tales of a 'Convenience Store Woman' by Sayaka Murata. With your current book, where have you escaped to?

I've learnt about jobs, research & lots more that I would never have come across. The day-to-day of science jobs interests me, as does the challenges of scicomms, women and education. I prefer reading to videos, so a long thread that explains research works for me 2/2

I'm a non-scientist & I follow quite a few scientists. Love that Twitter has helped me rediscover science. When you're younger and not 'the best', science is classed as not for you & you end up focusing on other things, but Twitter has made it accessible & that's a good thing 1/2

Your regular reminder that this is only the Withdrawal Agreement. Over the next decade, Britain will burn through Prime Ministers like a start up gets through dollars.

Keep sharing! It's at over a very impressive 5 million now. British citizens and UK residents can sign a petition - even under 18's. Don't assume everyone you know has signed it. Share, share share!
