Yemen's Shia provinces are now completely blockaded. There's mass starvation and a cholera epidemic. The Anglosphere could stop this if it cared. But the mass outrage seen in stories like Aleppo never materializes. It's very strange.
The Saudi-led coalition must lift its blockade on aid entering Yemen, a senior UN official says.

Hey sir, you are misinformed regarding the Sunni/Shia. we donot have such demarcations in Yemen. Sunnies exist allover Yemen, and make up the majority. Yemeni ppl (regardless of their affiliation) are being starved everywhere although worse in north.

Remember when Beirut was suicide bombed a couple of years ago, and a bunch of people died, and it was all over the media, and there was a global outpouring of condolences and solidarity? Me, neither.

Look, when our "enemies" do something even remotely resembling what our allies do, it's inhumane, cruel, thuggish, murderous. When our allies do something orders of magnitude worse, it's "necessary". Pretty simple, really. Heads we win, tails they lose.

Will Mark Ames write a confessional admitting sexual harassment of minors in Russia, but make it a satire? That'd be funny.
