People who post charts of The Fed balance sheet of stuff like M2 will never have their minds changed. But this is still a good read on the uselessness of all these measures.

The split creates new investor demand since more people can now afford to buy a share. In theory this lowers the cost of capital since Musk can take advantage of the new demand & issue more equity if he wants. Intrinsic Value goes up since future FCF is discounted at a lower rate

The only non-nominee speech that I even remember is Obama's in 2004. Can anyone identify a single line from any other?

It's not that big of a deal either way IMO. But to expend energy defending excluding a popular figure whose main idea is central to the debates being had in Washington right now (giving out checks) is weird.

Yang is a popular figure, lots of fans online, whose signature idea is central to some major public debates. He also brings with him some non Dems, even as he's been enthusiastically loyal to the nominee. You can justify his exclusion while also thinking it's an odd decision.

Fascinating discussion between Viktor Shvetz, , and on the future of capitalism and how the old model of economic growth, which widened inequality by being dependent on the growth in asset values, will not be sustainable
