I love the visual of Jill being small in these screenshots, it’s something that made the original game’s camera angles so magical. Getting a huge wide angle shot of your character in a giant looking environment makes the game world feel ominous as hell, and adds to the horror.

It also adds to the feeling of Raccoon City being so big, which is something I felt a bit during the time I played REmake 3 but I think after seeing these shots it makes a lot of sense.

I will admit the oldschool camera angles made it feel like you were watching the character through CCTV footage. It gave a unique perspective.

I would have loved a third person game mode for this reason. The fixed camera adds a lot of ambiance to these games.
