In 2014 started wht I call the "Rabri-risation" of Indian sports with the passing of a landmark judgment that Govt Sports Code is mandatory, legal & binding in all NSFs including Indian Olympic Association. Now the same Rabri-risation effect can be seen in BCCI.

It was truly a pleasure & an honour to watch 1st woman participant win 1 crore rupees on . What stood out for me was that she was blessed with confidence, compassion, knowledge, grace, poise, dignity &self belief. 👍 Truly अदभुद 👌 ji🙏

Which is exactly why I am asking. He exactly knows the downside of mixing politics with sports and is probably the only one who is in a position to correct it. 🇮🇳

Such journalists would go out of the way to tweet & cover an insignificant order passed in favour of IOA/other sports bodies but refuse to mention landmark, pathbreaking and historic developments in court to create a certain kind of narrative.

It's unfortunate to see how almost all sports journalists, barring a handful of exceptions, have sold their soul to sports administrators yielding tremendous power. Just a day before crucial hearing, highly motivated articles are published with a slant to further oblique motives.

Wishing Shri ji a very happy birthday. May you have a long, healthy & meaningful life. If possible kindly do look into getting all politicians out of sports administration and ensuring that they spend all the time on making lives of their constituency better.

I pray to God that sometime real soon a new 100 thousand capacity stadium is built in the outskirts of Delhi and it is named exclusively after you, a player that India has never seen before. You are a legend who truly deserves it. Wishing you the very best, always. God bless 🇮🇳

So how much exactly is being paid as coach of team India now? There is news of a substantial increase in his earlier fee of Rs 8 crore per annum. Simply unbelievable! Would be nice to break it down to how much does it come to per match fee?

A must watch. Every word spoken by while accepting must be internalised, appreciated and spread across the length & breadth of India to save our vibrant democracy.
