This came up during the first Vice Presidential Debate. A known homophobic, racist, sexist pig being calm doesn't mean they deserve respect.

I was in the middle of a transaction when he did it. I looked up, said "okay," and kept moving on. So, top of it all, he also interrupted someone innocent in the situation.

If he'd been a respectable human being, I'd have never needed to speak with him in the first place. Nah, fam, you don't get niceties if you put our lives at risk.

Props to the big strong white man who threw a fit at work today. Told him he needed to wear his mask. He complied, but as he left, he stopped, pointed at me, and said, "You'd get a lot farther if you said please and thank you."

I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Jaime and Mike saved my life. And they've been making sure I find the fuel to continue ever since.

Surprising nobody, I was bawling through "a few words for the firing squad (radiation)." Sad tears. Happy tears. Burn this bitch down tears.

After back-to-back duds on Shudder, this was a super nice change of pace. Smiled, laughed, had a great time watching a demon do their thing.

I had a damn good time watching . Just a fun exorcism movie, where it never takes itself too serious, the demon is the Cryptkeeper, and the ending gives off certain VHS 2 vibes that made me laugh.

For the record, we didn't leave the car in Seaside because that place is a maskless wasteland. Crowded walkways with people and bikes, and just one mask for every seventy people we passed by.

This new release is a treasure and then some. "Wildflowers" directly into "All The Rest," going directly into home recordings and live recordings. It shows a creative genius that will forever be unparalleled. I love and miss you, Tom.

I was lucky enough to see Tom Petty (and the Heartbreakers) back in 2017, the year he passed away. Even now, three years later, I still shed a tear (or river) when I think about him not hanging around any longer.

Molly and I got up this morning and drove four hours round-trip to Seaside, FL and back, not even actually getting out of the car at the coast. The reason? Purely to listen to four hours of Tom Petty with no distractions.

A hearty fuck off to those constantly making fun of being reminded about voter registration. It's great you're privileged enough to not have the try to purge you from the rolls.

The problem with constitutional originalism is that the constitution was written to be a living, changeable document. It's like going to a mechanic who will only work on your car with parts from the first car you ever owned, not the car you have right now.

It's 69 degrees outside right now, which is the nicest it'll be all day. This October has been hot. Just uncomfortably hot.

My comic book shop is basically just a place for me to give money to Tom King at this point. I can live with that.
