Licensed Esthetician here, You should not be exfoliating everyday!!!!! 1x a week MAX!! And Walnut will cause micro tears in your skin, using it everyday will result in couperose skin (broken capillaries)

So Kylie’s team didn’t do their research then? She said the skincare range has been “years in the making”... so...

Exactly! She could have easily afforded a team of Esthetician’s and Dermatologist to help her develop a skin care line that will actually work!

Skin care is an investment and it’s best to go to your local Esthetician and she/he will help find a skin routine! 😇

So I use the St. Ives apricot scrub for acne prone skin but I only use it 2x a week 🙁 I’ve been using it for awhile and haven’t had any issues. I have oily skin and mainly struggle with blackheads.....thoughts?

I'm licensed too, I exfoliate almost everyday with gentle a scrub or brush for 30-60 seconds. And tell all my clients every other day. Keeps pores smaller, skin polished, dead skin build up down, helps clear acne and helps clearing pigmentation. Depends on the skin and product.

do you mean that you recommend exfoliating once a week in general or with the walnut specifically? i use a proactive kit and one of the steps is an exfoliator that it says to use everyday and i don’t know if it’s helping my skin or making it worse..

I exfoliate every other day because my skin is very dry and if I don't my makeup sits weird and I can tell. Everyone is different how many times they need to exfoliate a week. Listen to your skins needs.

What do I do about my dry skin? If I don’t exfoliate I get dry patches.

They’re barrier is going to become extremely compromised, you don’t see the effects of micro tears right away it takes months-years as a “professional” you shouldn’t be recommending that to your client or doing that to yourself.

Yes!!!! If you’re allergic to walnuts, tree nuts, peanuts etc you should be really careful because of cross contamination.

Replying to @LelygutiXD @kylieskin
Unfortunately, once a broken capillarity is broke you can’t fix it. You just have to be really careful that you aren’t using excess pressure on that area or over exfoliating because it can spread.
