BC Cadets in the Honors Physics II class of Mr. Drew Schwalbe '90 this week learned about electrostatics & fundamentals of induced charge. To demonstrate this principle, Cadets explored the use of a Van de Graaff generator. Let's just say the results were shocking!

Mrs. Brinson brought in POEtato chips, OrePOE cookies, and Tell-Tale Hearts along with other treats. As our Cadets ate their snacks, they watched a rap video about Poe, as well as a clip from the 1961 Vincent Price movie "The Pit and the Pendulum."

Today is a dress down day (out of uniform) but BC English teacher Mrs. Cynthia Brinson dressed up as Edgar Allan Poe (complete with mustache and raven!) Her literature classes are celebrating what would have been Edgar Allan Poe's 210th birthday (on Saturday).
