I cycle this a lot and the road gets rather narrow there too. Cars don't always think that the cyclist doesn't have anywhere to go. The same problem happens on Mill Road opposite St Barnabas Church, the road narrows and it's a bit of a crush.

David Parr House. I have an odd connection to this place as I do remember Elsie. I work over the road and had seen inside. Here is a video on the restoration and history of the building. It looks great inside now.
