Transport for London 2h
Picture central London completely car-free 🍂🏃🚲 It’s nearly unfathomable, but that’s the whole point of this brand new event to celebrate World !

Excellent! The transfer should be available within the next 30 minutes and remain on the gatelines or yellow readers on buses for the next 4 days. Thanks, Sol.

Hi Grant If you've tapped on a reader that is part of an outer station interchange, the system can read this as one journey. However I'm unable to view your journey history to see if this has happened or not. Please register your contactless card online, (1/2)

Hi, I wasn't aware of an issue with those Contactless cards. What error message were you seeing? If it isn't working, you can use an Oyster card for the time being. No need to miss out on a trip! Thanks, Sol.

Hi Zoe, that's a question for National Rail to answer. I would doubt it though as the closure would've been planned months in advance. Thanks, Sol.

World Car Free Day events take place next Sunday 22 September. Many roads and bridges in central London will be closed to traffic. Avoid driving: Tube and rail will be the best ways to get around.
