The conditions at the CBP detention camps are a recipe for a catastrophic health epidemic. It’s unconscionable the CDC & Congress are not demanding the CBP adhere to national health and food safety regulations.

The Republicans are saying that migrants "bring disease." Then they create these conditions. They will blame the migrants for this, count on it. I'm so disgusted by this administration.

The young US citizen who was held for ~3 weeks lost 26 pounds, that’s outrageous. Ppl who are already undernourished are less capable of fighting viral infections. EXTREMELY unsanitary conditions & malnourishment are a deadly combo & both could be remedied.

Abbott is a failed leader for not knowing how to help a child who has the flu. Abbott, Cornyn, Cruz, Patrick, and Paxton, get your shoes on the ground and get your house in order.

If only the parents would have come lawfully rather than risk their child's life. The onus is on them for putting their child in that situation.

Thank you. I’ve often felt that Jesus weeps whenever we do exactly the wrong things. The face palm gives me comfort. Be well. Resist.
