Glad to combine with Larry Einhorn, for Indy Star article on the new Lance series on ESPN. The AYA message, advocacy, survivorship and the giving messages got buried in the scandal. THX from the 24 years in the future Craig

Plus, the pathologic determination of LVI by less experienced pathologists is all over the map; often an overcall that triggers BEP X1. miR371 may soon allow even earlier detection of relapse so primary RPLND can be allowed to cure with reduced or no chemo

Don't be conflating my man with POTUS. I am pretty sure the video evidence is skimpy and Marty had the 99 theses right side up. I also doubt he conspired with Guttenberg for hits and likes and did not have Steven Miller write his content.

The long term side effects of BEP X 1 are not yet well characterized and much like BEP X 3, probably subclinical. Short term toxicity is known and is substantial. It is more than taking an aspirin. Sometimes that is how it is portrayed to patients

We all can do better. The myth he perpetrated (Athletes and celebrities are clean and good hearted) was much less important than the myth he busted (There is very meaningful life during and after cancer). The whole AYA message got buried and his existential role

In my opinion, the methodology makes impossible to interpret other than at a high level. The unvalidated self report survey greatly limits the value. No long-term toxicity conclusions are valid except that the RPLNDs were not all of high quality. See the Platinum study

A very common "rookie mistake". When you see a low level, abnormal AFP, before you act, phone a friend see also (from the horse's mouth). Albany, Einhorn JCO 2014 32:2114-15
