Confounds many of the stereotypes about how people just want to ‘stick to their own’ - and that there is such a thing as ‘their own’!

Do people pull together in times of adversity- or pull apart? has built a community sprit but external factors are also important- especially having sufficient funding to meet basic needs!

Today's Times reports on confirmation of the 1st state funded faith school in England in nearly a decade which can operate a fully religiously selective admission policy. Our Chair is quoted describing the move as "a worrying backward step for integration"

You failed to fix my electric car, even after 9 weeks stuck in your garage, are you any better in fixing Peugeot EVs? And would you just want to replace the inverter and the compressor units (cost around £7.5k) at the customer’s expense rather than repair them?

It probably will need intervention, but what does this say about the attitudes and values of the churches?

Census data can of course be used for good or ill, not the fault of the data and no reason to dispense with it. If we don’t have it there is even more chance of evidence-free should be used for positive interventions, such as cohesion and integration

And cannot be replaced with a rag bag of data from a variety of limited sources!

This would be a great loss, we should be investing more, through mid-term Census reviews, not less - certainly not abandoning it altogether. It is impossible to properly plan public services without knowing who the ‘public’ are!

Great to see such wide ranging support for advancing community cohesion in Australia, backed by academic, statutory and voluntary agencies

Thanks the Customer Promise is impressive, but it does not cover my specific points. was unable to offer me an appropriate repair response, so I would like to know if you would be able to do so should I need it in the future?

If I buy a Nissan Leaf will your main dealers offer full repair service - rather than just replace expensive components (eg inverter, compressor unit) are they trained and competent to diagnose and repair the fault? Just had bad experience with who failed after 9 weeks

Looking forward to working with you in your new role and developing new guidance and resources for cohesion and integration in schools!

But why are you continuing to introduce electric cars without ensuring the competence of main dealers to repair them? My car languished for 9 weeks in and no repair effected, despite ‘help’ from your Romanian technical support team - how is his going to change?

The BBC is one of the key markers of our shared national identity, only matched by the NHS. The TV licence decriminalisation is a threat to what we have in common, and should be fundamental to this new consultation.

Great vision for electric vehicles but do people know that main dealers are apparently not trained or equipped to repair the EVs they sell? And that they are reliant on technical support in Romania? Who seem to only want to replace not repair, at the customers expense?

Strong words from Ofsted on segregation in schools, but why are these “state funded community schools theoretically for all children” still in business?

Lot of play given to ’s piece on tribalism here today. It’s well-written as ever, but what is the scientific evidence for ‘human beings are tribal, psychologically primed to recognize in-group and out-group before the frontal cortex gets a look-in’?

Let’s hope new MD will be able to sort out repair and maintenance of electric vehicles as they appear to be unable to fix the electric cars they sell within a reasonable time and at reasonable expense
