I agree he’s reliable. But most ppl who share random facts/statements without links aren’t. Regardless of credibility factor, been my experience that tweets sharing news content that include media like a more prominence in the feed and higher engagement than tweets w/o

I don’t think this is common behavior or even true for the majority of accounts FWIW. Especially when it comes to news content (and I say that as someone who has run social for many news brands)

Essentially: we're taught that the internet is constantly changing and shifting into something unrecognizable. It's super important, and therapeutic, to have sites we can return to that remain static.
