3. During the first lockdown recycling was suspended and OVER 40 staff furloughed, all agency. In August some lucky ones were interviewed for the jobs they've done for years, the successful ones received letters informing them but as of date are still with agencies. SOCIALISTS?

Today I can officially say my son is 18 years old! I feel so happy & relieved that we HAVE broken the cycle. For me it's the biggest achievement I could ever achieve! My mom was in care. I was in care & moved 51 times & had 33 convictions by 18. My son has never been in care. 🎊

Disgraceful! As expected Labour Councillors from Huyton and Kirkby have tonight voted in favour of Taylor Wimpey's Planning Application to build a a 227 property housing estate on Whitakers Garden Centre Prescot. Opposition councillors (Green & Lib Dem) voted against.

It seems there are two types of people: Those who feel pain every time a comes down, … & those who are pleased to see "progress", "development" & "economic growth". Which are you?

Whilst doing some amazing work that should be applauded allowing part of one of its own woodlands to be felled (because it’s not ancient, 70-100yrs old clearly isn’t good enough) to unlock the development of greenbelt with the loss of 1000s of trees is unacceptable

Did You Know, that is allowing to destroy part of St Benedicts Woods to create an access route to develop EPGC, which involves the felling of 1000s of trees? ‘EVERY TREE COUNTS’ is their recent motto. We don’t think so!!!

My last email to my elected ward councillors (on this very important topic) was on the 5th November. 2 weeks on and still no response. I guess we just wait for another serious accident? This isn’t what I voted for

We must do all that we can to stop this land being unnecessarily developed. The impacts of traffic and pollution alone would have severe impacts upon Rainhill.

Did You Know that Eccleston Park Golf Club is a vital green lung for, and prevents urban sprawl between Rainhill, Whiston, Eccleston, Nutgrove and Thatto Heath? It sits entirely within the greenbelt.

It’s also outrageous that recently approved warehousing on nearly 200 acres of green belt farmland here in St. Helens. How is that helping to tackle the climate emergency?

4 years ago tonight I lost my eldest son. “We may look as if we carry on with our lives as before. We may even have times of joy and happiness. Everything may seem “normal”. But THIS, “Emptiness” is how we all feel...all the time." ❤ Melancholy by Albert György
