Unfortunately, we financially depend on ads and the placement of the button is designed for easy access. If you dislike ads, please consider Primal Pass. It removes ads. It helps us focus on development to be paid directly and we can make a positive feedback loop.

Someone noticed that when you have hundreds / thousands of cores in a supercomputer, the individual utilization boxes in Task Manager start to look like pixels. People started making pictures by doing different amounts of work on specific processors. It escalated quickly.

We’ve been waiting on approval for an ARK mobile update for a while now from Apple and Google. Understandably that’s taking a lot more time right now.

Now that the last of the new bosses has been encountered in the dungeon, maybe we should mix things up a bit with something new.

If the government can invent money, so can we! Get ready for some "quantitative easing" in ARK Mobile later this week.

Thanks. We can filter out the children from the adults :-) From that perspective the player base has actually been fantastic, it's been great to engage with so many fans.

It would improve lag (specifically framerate) and graphics, but not crashes. Most crashes are from being out of memory. There is a LOT in ARK, and lower memory devices will struggle. The latest engine probably uses more memory than before, we'd have to figure some stuff out.

One more... 3 months later we had the Island fitting in memory if we were rendering basically nothing in front of you... at 8 FPS 😆

Little piece of ARK mobile history. Picture of the first running build. We moved the engine from 4.5 to 4.17 and once we got it booting in a test map this was what we saw on a Google Pixel (!) on Dec 30th, 2016.
