The sky was falling. I spent a lot of time running around shouting. As you do.

Oh sure. I have no problem with it. I just don't think anyone plats the pokies with an expectation of winning. The love of the punt (and addiction) are far stronger. But as I said, can't hurt, for sure

Tiago is smart. Be like Tiago. Buy quality. Invest for the long term. Be patient. No promises, but it's the best approach we know.

That's an interesting one. But I don't think it'd help, you know. I reckon 99.9% of players know the odds are against them. Problem gamblers aren't addicted because of a lack of information. Still -- can't hurt, either!

Stay the course, Tiago! I've lost count of the number of times my portfolio has suffered those sorts of falls. The net result: I'm well ahead, over the long term. Eyes on the horizon!

Just awful. Sorry to hear it, Jenny. It is hard to believe we're in this place, as a society, in 2020. We are all failing the victims of domestic violence, and government responses are appallingly insufficient.

Put it on the bucket list. Do whatever you need to (when more normal times return). You'll thank me.

Tell me you've seen him in concert? Went to one of the vineyard gigs when he was here last. Perhaps the best concert I've been to. Energy from first to last -- and he went long!

Death by 1,000 cuts. Each action, by itself, almost inconsequential. I don't know if the government is conflicted, ignorant or just doesn't care, but this is on our watch. What Australia do we want to live in?

More people could -- if they wanted -- 'attend' more AGMs that are run virtually, because geography/travel is taken out of the equation. I guess there's some 'whites of the eyes' benefit, and the risk that companies censor/manage the process, though -- so not without drawbacks

Yep. I think you're spot on. I think it could be improved by having an outside party moderate the online interaction for the reasons you mention. But yeah, the voting decisions won't change, and the benefit of quality live-streamed AGMs are probably a net benefit.

That assumes a lack of capacity. Which might be right. I'm more fearful of a lack of interest/commitment to the environment.
