We need to reform our GUN laws to keep weapons of war off the streets, not violate the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendments by confiscating arms or imprisoning people w/o due process. Republicans would rather chip away at your rights than the bottom line of weapons dealers.

How many times must our communities be torn apart for my colleagues to act? As a nation, we have been stuck in a deadly cycle of sending thoughts and prayers year after year, while we continue to lose thousands.

"Hospitals faring the worst are mainly in states that refused to expand Medicaid.  Those states account for 77 of the 106 closures over the past decade. They also are home to a greater percentage of money losing facilities and lower collective profit margins.".

Not that it would be acceptable to treat anyone this way, but it is unconscionable that CPB has starved an American citizen who was wrongly detained. Those responsible for these abuses should be held accountable.

do you believe the government should decide who lives and who dies? Are you pro-life or simply pro-birth? Please consider cosponsoring this bill.

I’m deeply saddened by the death of Pedro Arriago-Santoya, who had been incarcerated for 4 months for a civil infraction. We must do better.

One study estimates that as many as 1 in 25 people executed are completely innocent. That could mean hundreds of innocent Americans will be killed by their own government. Their right to life is not being upheld by this administration.

Over 8,466 people have been sentenced to death since 1973. 3,194 of those sentences were eventually overturned. This decision will lead to wrongful executions and is absolutely immoral.

If you’re disappointed by Brian Kemp mishandling his own election, be sure to vote for a Secretary of State who will uphold voting rights and secure our elections instead of making harder to vote and audit elections. Vote @Barrow4Georgia on Dec. 4! Early voting is going on now!

Mail in your Absentee Ballots today! They must be received by Election Day, THIS TUES! Don’t forget, they require ✌️ stamps to mail back! If you are concerned they will not arrive in time, you can hand-deliver them to your county’s elections office!
