ICYMI: Some members of our Tsakane branch who are users of the Phuthanang Clinic made their dissatisfaction clear yesterday about the untimely passing of ugogo Tsotetsi. Led by our Chairperson, they stressed the need for the report to include other issues faced in the facility.

This morning members of our Tsakane branch visited the house of an 81 year old woman who passed away tragically outside Phuthanang Clinic in Tsakane yesterday. Her death likely could've been prevented. We call on all stakeholders to work together to strengthen healthcare systems.

We call for the protection of CHWs in the province as a critical cadre in the COVID response. We call for the adequate provision of PPE. We also call for their personal security. Some CHWs were this month shot at with rubber bullets as they tried to get a responses to a memo.
