I appreciate Asher’s courage in speaking up & making me understand why reaching out now is just not enough. I still hope people who care & can make things happen within his organization are willing to keep trying, engage behind the scenes, do what is right.

As a 🇺🇸 volunteer who believes positive change CAN happen within organizations, I hope SC will reach out to & back up their words “...committed to anti-racism and leading by example within the sporting community to bring change.”👍

NQS are club hosted, not qualifying, competitions. From USFS' press release: "For those planning to compete within the qualifying structure, the traditional registration is scheduled to open on July 15 for the Regional challenges in October and the respective Finals in November."

USFS had announced on April 9, 2020 that "Ice Dance will not be included in the NQS this season." Each U.S. club competition host (designated NQS or not) "will make its own decision to move ahead with their event" (perhaps some might still be able to take place in Aug./Sept.?).

Very sorry to hear that coach Ron Ludington passed away yesterday. :( Lovely man. I interviewed him back in 2008 about his career if anyone wants to hear his voice and his story in his own words. RIP Luddy:
