Great question! Important to find answer.... AHPs in Trust leadership is a MUST!!! Also screening all trust adverts to open to AHPs if they have the skill set/ experience. Tried to apply for a Frailty specialist role recently... was not even shortlisted as I did not have RCN.🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s definitely not good as OTs & Physios are central to addressing - totally agree about job apps being worded around ‘skill set’ & not just being discipline specific.

Chuffed with my AHP awards. Also mindful of pioneering work of et al. FCP & self-referral are synonymous in my 👀s. It’s more the❓why potential of SR wasn’t comprehensively realised. Need to explore these issues 2 ensure FCP is fully actualised
