When our economy was crashed by reckless bankers and billionaires in ‘08, my family, community and generation paid the price with a decade of heartless austerity. None of you called that a class war. Now the wealthiest are asked to contribute a little more and all of a sudden..

I can’t tell you how angry this makes me. Blaming local authorities when the Government has cut local funding by 40%. The Government cut the funding so the Government has to take the responsibility.

Have just had a piece of direct mail from the Lib Dems telling me that 'Labour do not have a single councillor in the area'. Given that I am an elected Labour councillor, I feel like they could have picked better targets to lie to.

Labour has been in govt for a total of 33yrs & borrowed £500bn = £15.15bn a year The Tory govt has ruled 9yrs & increased the debt by £1tn = £111.11bn a year. Tories spent 7.5x more than Labour per year & in 9yrs, doubled what Labour spent in 33yrs. (I'll get sacked for this!)

A party that sets up a fake website to deceive voters about its rival's plans is not fit to govern. The Tories did that today - only 24hs after being reprimanded by the Electoral Commission for a similar stunt during the ITV debate.
