Un étage à ergols solides a des parois très rigides et peut bien encaisser le choc avec l’océan... Un étage à ergols liquides, même sous pression, risque d’avoir des déformations de structures ou d’autres éléments... Il faudrait l’avis de notre expert national (CNES)

Les SRB de la navette étaient bien réutilisables... Ceux d’ ne le sont pas, mais ils ont malgré tout été récupérés une fois sous parachute pour vérifier la bonne combustion des ergols solides (c’était la première fois que l’Europe faisait des boosters aussi gros)
