colleagues from our Armed Response Vehicle noticed a problem with this car. We have prohibited it for them. Tyres should have tread! and not the sort that win prizes.

It would be a due care offence. If seen and stopped a Traffic Offence Report would be submitted. A decision based on the circumstances, driver history and evidence would be made around what happens. Options are driver awareness course, Fixed Penalty or court. 1/2

Not personally but all our reports are collated and the relevant agencies are notified of any problem areas. This being one. I can say it is becoming a regular spot and we have raised it with the owners and local authorities.

Our ARV colleagues have stopped a car in the Elmbridge area and we have assisted them. 2 people now in custody in relation to an assault that took place yesterday. We don’t just deal with traffic and guns!

North of Hurtmore Junction, towards Guildford, lane closure. Lane 2 closed due to a broken down vehicle. Yes we have tried moving it, no we can’t move it!! Recovery is on its way.

I think it’s more the confusion as it is literally 2 slip roads in one. People who don’t know the area see the countdown and suddenly the turning and get confused. We are speaking to the local authorities and land owners about this.
