LRT: Being a QPOC varies so much based on culture, race, family, etc. but it is almost always a vastly different experience to being white + queer. It is frustrating to see how the nuances of our identities are often erased, especially when it is to make us into love interests--

Stories by QPOC are SO important. White queer creators assume that they understand what it’s like to be a queer person of color, since the LGBTQ+ aspect is similar, and end up creating narratives where QPOC behave exactly like their white counterparts which is...not correct

speaking for myself, i wish we could normalize trigger warnings in queries and conference submissions etc. agents/editors are people with trauma sometimes and we think about our own safety too.

Maintained my 4.0 this semester, and my mom got approved for subsidized housing! So we may be moving this summer, too.

Mmm I feel you. I used to be extremely averse, all the time, but with exposure it sort of got to the point where it's like... just whatever, sometimes, but other times it's still like NOPE.

I think I've only read one--3 by hannah moskowitz, a YA polyamorous romance. It's not the POV character who has the abortion, it's the other girl in the triad, but I thought it really well done.

For very real, as a kink-loving ace, I get so, *SO* frustrated by everybody thinking 1) Aces can’t be interested/practice BDSM 2) BSDM is solely sexual and has no other importance in your life So much. It’s a freaking Berserk Button. So instead of Godzilla-ing, I wrote a thing!

Meet this Two-Spirit Cree specialist who combines Indigenous and Western teachings in his medical practice. This is why many of his patients drive up to 8 hours and walk miles just to see a specialist who makes them feel safe.
