Can any geopolitical expert please crystallise TUR/SA situation please? I thought they were friends. I know Erd supports the MB whereas SA has them as terrorists. Suggestion TUR wants to be centre of Muslim world. But SA invests a lot in TUR, so is it more money TUR wants?

Enjoying tonight. Dare I suggest a little belief/grit /determination starting to become the norm? Like Torreira's no nonsense approach and Gwen Doozy is getting me saying "go on, take him on" when he gets the ball. All without mentioning Ozil/Laca/Auba... Bodes well..

My column on English hopes for this season's Champions League. A complacent start? Or are European Trans spending wiser than our clubs? Enjoy!

My column on grassroots football in England. It's time the Premier League paid up. No English football to piggy back on, no Premier League success story globally! Enjoy!

So walked into the embassy, had a fight with 15 men, who happened to have several bone saws handy along with someone qualified to cut up a body perfectly.. Seems pretty legit to me.

Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy Difficult in 2018 ( still a way to go!) to overestimate the impact this song had on the straight community. It said "we're here, we're not hiding anymore". As seminal as it gets!

The Sundays - Can't Be Sure "England my country the home of the free, such miserable weather" There were more famous bands who has more money threw at them by labels, but there wasn't a better indie band in the UK at the same time.

Paul Weller-English Rose (Acoustic) Down at the tube station, NOTW, Strange Town etc summed up the anger of a generation but English Rose was pure Bragg/McColl at their best. Wonderful!

Joe Jackson - Steppin' Out One of the most underrated British artists, and a truly beautiful melodic pop song.
