So we're at the stage where a player can't ply his trade, in a Final no less, because the oil cheque to UEFA was too big to be concerned with player or supporter welfare. Players and supporters becoming peripheral in their own sport.

My big Sister would have been 70 today. She had cancer of the palate and died at 44, when I was at Southend. Made the weakest cuppa you've ever seen! But I'd give my right arm for one today and for my Mom and her kids to see her one more time.

The column that was gleefully retweeted about tackling was from 16/17. City didn't win anything. This season City have made 14 tackles per game, 61 aerial duels per game, 9 interceptions per game and dare I suggest... Some rather innovative punctuating of play, when suits.

My column on a wonderful Manchester City season of incredible football and management. How does their treble rate against other all time great English teams? Enjoy!

A lot has been written about Manchester City & the ethical issues surrounding it's owner Sheikh Mansour. The response to pieces by & has been depressing: denial, deflection & whataboutism. So here's a thread (1/)

Remember the Dad and 10 year old kid a month or two ago who had this sprayed on their front door? Well the man on the right is Vaughan Dowd. His solicitor, pre sentencing ( jailed, 1 year) said Dowd... "Had Brexit on his mind".

Clubs who've significantly broken financial rules across so many laws a and statutes from youth football to funding should have titles stripped from that period from youth to seniors. Not rocket science. But...

Honestly, I'd watched the first 30 before but never all the way through. Genuinely the funniest thing I've seen since Chris Rock, Never Scared. Amazing 🙌🏽
