It's really interesting to hear different people's experiences

There's been mixed reviews about this - what are your experiences? Did you find the start of the degree harder than the access course?

You can't pour from an empty cup! Placement hours are not more important than you're own health. You can make them up easily in the future. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing.

What would you say to yourself at this time last year?

That seems like an interesting way of doing it. Some placements I didn't think I wanted I actually really enjoyed when I got them - Ellie

What's your experience of placement? Do you get to put preferences down or choose where they are, or are they allocated for you?

Evening Twitter, with you tonight. Today me and some of my cohort went for an end of degree social activity day. We did team building activities and got soaking wet in the lake too! Have you done anything like this at uni?

My worst nightmare is/would be someone choking! Thankfully my nurse training has allowed me to become comfortable/trained in case of it happening! Pls RT this and familiarise your self with basic first aid and the Heimlich Maneuver 🙌🏻

Hi Emma, sorry to hear that you’ve not heard where you’re going. That’s super tough. Is it the same for everyone in your cohort? If it’s just you, I would speak to your personal tutor and/or with your programme admin. I usually hear 6-8 weeks before - Rachael
