think we need to push back a bit on what is "essential" for people of faith; obviously can't have gatherings but for a priest not to be able to go and pray with someone at the funeral home is pretty tough

UPDATE: services at St Matthew-in-the-City at 8am and 10am are CANCELLED tomorrow. The church will be open for private prayer and candle lighting in the morning.

We will continue to gather for worship this Sunday - we are unlikely to be more than 100 at 10am but we will be counting to be sure. Stay home if you are unwell. Let's gather and draw strength from each other and drink deeply from the well of our faith.

We made ashes yesterday from last year's palm crosses and today we use them to remember that we are dust and to dust we shall return. services at 12.20pm and 7pm. All welcome
