Earlier today I posted a pretty scathing thread about my expeirenxes as a witness of abuse at Paizocon. Some updates/revisiting follows.

At Paizocon I saw an altercation where Frog God co-creator Bill Webb was harassing a female guest to the point where I was asked to help.

It turns out a Paizo employee was injured (to a degree in uncertain of) trying to break up the events that led up to my involvement.

My involvement in this was limited to keeping an eye on the victim and ensuring that her harasser wasn't in the immediate area.

He did return and he was made to leave and it was an extremely uncomfortable and difficult situation even as someone not directly impacted.

Earlier today I'd said that the harasser was allowed to stay because of panels and games. It turns out he was allowed to stay because he was

Based on accounts from several people I spoke to Paizo worked within the bounds of what they were asked to do by the victim.

Bill left after sobering up but was NOT banned from future appearances at the convention, even though he definitely injured a con employee.

There's no guarantee that he won't return to the event, and my concern for the safety of my team remains as much as I'd mentioned earlier.

What's most troubling of all of this is that I've been made aware that Paizo doesn't have sufficient responses in place for these incidents

One source who responded to my original post informed me that the only standard procedure is to "find an executive" to handle the issue.

But following the altercation I witnessed no such executive could be found and delayed responses with regards to Con-goer safety.

Before Paizocon entirely employees asked for better procedures and were told "it will be fine."

they responded, it just was too late and in my opinion too little. He needed to be banned from future conventions.
