This is what it feels like to volunteer, there are still a few spaces next week for a lucky few to work with the boss man (Grant). E mail southsea@parkrun.com if you would like to feel great!

The 1st parkrun of spring wasn't sunny but at least it wasn't windy! An incredible 96 pb's and 49 first timers meant about a 3rd of the whole field run their fastest Southsea parkrun today! well done!

HO HO HO Merry Christmas to all Southsea parkrunners. I have spoken with Lapland and all Santa runners have a time of 00:00:00 (apologies if this ruins your PB). Results are up, if yours isn't there, there is still time to write to Santa, thank you to all elves that helped today.

I have become friends with so many fellow Parkrunners, and realised how small Southsea is! Parkrun is my Saturday morning must do.

We have loved every week of it, and getting to know so many people in our community. A milestone like a 5th year running is a good opportunity to reflect; drop a comment below with what Southsea parkrun means to you, or any particularly found memories in that time
