CalOSHA investigating a firefighter injury: A FF was injured when they were using a chainsaw to conduct firefighting operations, fuel cap came off, splashed their pants with fuel, which set on fire and resulted in 2nd & 3rd degree burns.

The worker, who has not been identified, was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center Burn Unit. Cal/OSHA is investigating the incident to identify and correct workplace safety violations. The agency was notified of the incident on Oct. 27.
