New in 11.4.8 - libucb! It turns out that even after 25+ years of telling people this transition aid was temporary and going away, enough applications still used it that we've had to undo the EOF that removed it in 11.4.0.

In Oracle Solaris we have added posix_spawn_file_actions_addclosefrom_np(); it allows you to not inherit all file descriptor from a certain value.

Compared to the previously released 11.4.7.4.0 there was just one bug fixed, to resolve a regression in 11.4.7.4.0: 29514751: dtrace script fails with operands have incompatible types (which also broke things like lockstat based on dtrace)

IPS seems to have *most* of the things I'd want to see in a next-generation OS packaging system. I'm not suggesting that RHEL/Fedora should use it as-is, though; there's some stuff I might want to adapt or improve for our particular use cases..
