I’m a Sun veteran, now Oracle and I can say that its Oracle that has saved Solaris. The latest Solaris 11.4 release & the 12SRU’s so far & guaranteed support till atleast 2034 shows the commitment to Solaris continuing. Show me a benchmark that beats SPARC M8 running Solaris.
