Personally I feel like someone should at least play it for a hour, not sure if

Holy shit... I dont think I've ever heard of a reviewer denying to review a game because it's so terrible.

Honestly it's not. It's really fun for a lot of people, myself and around 20 friends on Xbox & PC included. But I've got another 25-30 friends who don't like it. It's just not for everyone, and for those people that translates to the game being"bad". Big oof.
