Lake Campbell has been added to the list of Skagit County lakes with signs of a blue-green algae bloom. Samples have been taken and are being sent to the lab to test for toxins. Please avoid contact with the water in Big Lake and Campbell Lake.

Caution if you plan to spend time in Big Lake: there are signs of a significant blue-green algae bloom. Biotoxins are not yet present at levels of concern, but conditions can change quickly. Avoid water with obvious intense color. Gut and wash fish well before consuming.
