I'm sorry to hear of Helen Reddy's death. ALW and I had our first US hit cover with her version of I Don't Know How To Love Him back in 1971. Met her briefly at that time. She sustained a fine run of US hits in the 70s, unfairly underrated here. Top Aussie.

Great to hear Marty and Kim Wilde on the Michael Ball show yesterday. Marty’s new album is terrific and it is such good news that one of our greatest early rock stars is still delivering the goods.

Laurie was a great talent and her unfairly early death a great loss to music and theatre. Lovely person too.

Well done Lennie! Thank you for a lovely tune. Kirsty sends you a bark of apprecation. Should that be Bach of appreciation? All very best Tim Rice

What makes you think I've got Mary's costume? It wouldn't fit. But thanks so much for going to the show and for kind comments.

Saw JCS again at the park tonight. Once again a brilliant performance from all concerned. Everyone seemed to dash off at the end so I didn’t get to see many of the company personally. Apologies. Kirsty the dog miffed at being left at home.

Not sure Watson has yet dodged the heavy fire from songwriters and artists.
