Cool! See you when you do the day trip to Helsinki, right? Right? Charles?

Did you know there are people out there that create content purely because it's something they're passionate about or interested in, and not for the purpose of building links? Nuts innit.

That blog post is vague - it outlines the sandbox. Check the links to the Chromium site, there’s more info about the proposed models there. It’s still vagueish, because this is proposed as a community effort rather than a forcefed feature set on browser users.

I'm really psyched to announce our Privacy Sandbox proposal—an effort to build privacy guarantees into the core architecture of the Web. This has been all-consuming for me over the last six months, and even longer for our research and engineering teams.

As part of Chrome's initiative to make the web more private, we've been publishing explainers — the conversation-starters of the web development community. Mine: a new potential Privacy Model for the web.

Yeah, could well be! I haven’t done the research to give an educated guess, though. But the medium is inconsequential. If me doing a live stream of Irish dancing and coding at the same time would help get the knowledge shared, I'd do that in a heartbeat!

I can honestly reply that I do not care one bit about accumulating new audiences :-) The YouTube thing is a nice experiment - I’ve found many of these larger articles really difficult to put down in words, so having a video walk through the steps just seems really logical.

I’m the wrong person for that. Contact e.g. Bounteous or Analytics Pros - they have lots of experience with the entire GA360 stack.

I’m desperately trying to find a better reason than just artificial inflation, because I refuse to believe that someone in 2019 still thinks GA’s Pageviews metric is a KPI.

Does the page path sent to GA change depending on what was picked? If so, it could be the site wants to track virtual Pageviews in order to utilize the Goal Funnel report, as it doesn’t work with events. It’s a fairly common practice e.g. with form field tracking.
