Great piece of research & thanks for sharing but introducing solids at 6 months is not ‘late’, it’s the recommended time. Before this is classified as early & as the paper shows this can be detrimental

And yet no mention of milk in this article, the main source of nutrition for infants. Bottle fed babies are more likely to gain excess weight. The protective effect of should get way more attention in the whole discourse about prevention!!

How about we stop asking 'Should mothers breastfeed in public?' or 'Should children be breastfed past a certain age?' And start asking 'Should mothers be forced to justify breastfeeding to people who don't understand it at all, and seem to positively revel in their ignorance?'
