My pleasure. Brassed Off is an important film with important messages which are based on significant undermining of communities. This has not stopped. Public goods like education and personal goods such as social interactions are now being rendered.

I’ve been thinking of my chapter and this is stage one - the freedom of a canvas touched but not deliberated on beyond my obvious - so much here, I’ve felt waste, guilt, lack, emptiness but also reality, utopia, golden realisation - can I? of course, we do, often

That’s great, thanks for the nomination - if I win, it’s you that won it :-) (if I don’t I won’t hold it against you!!)

I don’t generally get a chapter invite until someone drops out last minute, like the ‘injured in the warm-up’ emergency, climbing onto the pitch from the terrraces, shoes not boots, grey socks n newspaper shin pads, is it that time?

There is something in all about nature as return, of recognising connectedness, of recognising the cutting off from it (natural world) being not of our own doing - and this being before memory and only felt not remembered. It’s a haunting of our psyche that commands resonance

I’ve signed this petition to revoke A50 and deal with the consequences afterwards - referendum, election, whatever. I have no idea whether these things do any good but after May’s astonishingly irresponsible speech this evening I’ll give anything a go.
