Think about how many people in this country don't have a paid vacation. If their kid gets sick, they either take the kid to school sick or stay home and lose a day's pay. That's why workers' rights matter. It's why we fight.

Republicans didn't seem to care too much about the deficit when they handed a massive tax cut to the wealthiest 1%. Now, they're talking about cutting back on key programs like Social Security or Medicaid to save money. Absurd.

All workers deserve dignity and respect. That's why when Senate Bill 5 threatened to take away Ohioans’ collective bargaining rights, I was proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with teachers, firefighters, police officers, and organized labor.

With less than 20 days left to register to vote, we need all hands on deck. Share this video with 5 of your friends and make sure they're registered to vote. The stakes are simply too high this year to sit this out.

7 years ago today, we celebrated the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell." Any American who serves our country in uniform should be treated with honor and respect. Ending this discriminatory ban was a powerful step towards full equality for all servicemembers.

A reminder that this administration gave the wealthiest 1% a huge tax cut, but continues to propose cuts to programs that kept 44 million people out of poverty last year. It's senseless—and cruel.

I'm fighting for a tax system that rewards work. People who work hard should make a living wage. If you work all your life, your pension should be protected. You should be sure Medicare & Social Security will be there. A lot of Republicans are working for the opposite. Immoral.

In 2012, outside groups spent $40 million in an attempt to defeat me. Americans deserved to know then—just as they do now—who is influencing our elections. This ruling is a step in the right direction.

Here's who stock buybacks help: stockholders, CEOs, the wealthiest 1%. Here's who stock buybacks don't help: everybody else.

Deals like these currently make it difficult for too many of our friends, neighbors, and family members to get the affordable care they need—or even to navigate the healthcare system. We need to do better.

The handed a massive tax cut to the wealthiest 1%. Now, they want to be "tougher on spending" by making cuts to key programs Americans are depending on. We have to fight back.
