This is exactly why we need to do away with Trump's tax scam and replace it with a tax code that incentivizes corporations to invest in their workers, while keeping jobs in the U.S.

All workers—no matter where they live—should be paid fairly for the hard work they put in. That means raising the federal minimum wage to $15.

We need to raise wages and improve access to affordable housing. We must take steps to relieve student debt and reign in the high cost of higher education. We need to improve our healthcare system so that no one is drowning in medical bills. That's the change I'm fighting for.

We should increase the federal minimum wage to $15, and raise the salary threshold for when companies are required to pay workers overtime for the extra hours they work. If we make these changes, we can help millions of people get a much-deserved raise.

The dignity of work means being able to afford prescription drugs when you need them. It means being able to get an education without a lifetime of debt. It means being paid a living wage and the overtime you’ve earned. That's what I'm fighting for every day.

This administration should be working to raise pay for working people. Instead, they're making it easier for payday lenders to saddle them with triple-digit interest rates, trapping many families in a cycle of debt. Unacceptable.

Trump's claims about an auto industry "revival" are not true. Just ask the thousands of GM employees who lost their jobs in Lordstown.
