Wow! Very funny. I'm so amused. I wish you showed some respect at least here. It is news of somebody's death. But, oh, well!

Heartbreaking and inhuman. Please see if anything can be done to help reunite the family.

Deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their kids in this incident. As a matter of fact, majority of the buildings in India - residential or commercial - do not have fire safety design or equipment. Wish these policy issues were a priority.

Coinciding with Modi's election to a second term, 'The Hour of Lynching' is an important documentation of how Muslims were used as mere fuel to fire up the Hindutva hate machinery that has radicalized white collar and blue collar alike. It isn't the EVMs

I clearly remember 16 May, 2014. Everyone was rushing to JNU Students' Union office to watch the Lok Sabha results. I had a naive belief that would become PM, that India would reject a mass murderer. That was the first time that I felt like a Muslim in India.

Any opportunity for a freelancer to freelance is a welcome one, though, right? Well, usually. But that's not really what this is. This is about companies saying: "Come and do all the work of our staff reporters without enjoying any of the protections afforded to them."

A disturbing trend I've noticed as I've gone looking for a new gig: the number of companies looking for freelance reporters to fulfill the duties of salaried staff reporters.

This is very discomforting. That the needs to rely on OpIndia to assure the safety of EVMs should worry every citizen. (Besides, is this what EC officials read?)
