Interesting question! Mine are around continuity/service change - how often do delays in executing care plans occur due to attending transition? How long/significant are these delays? How long does it take patients to feel comfortable with or trust a new attending after switch?

Being an internal medicine teaching attending is the best job in the world. Who has it better than us? No one.

Me too! So hard for where teaching service may be "easier" rotation and meetings get pushed to those blocks

True! Recently had bout of "eponymn oneupsmanship" w/ everyone rapid-firing increasingly odd names, was in fun but kernel of truth

Yes! If you can do pre-work for your own patient care process, opens up time for discussion, teaching, listening/observing learners

so great to emphasize, not just "call me when bad stuff happens" but "call me when I can help or you need someone in your corner"

this is such a great idea! I always default to "Dr" too but lots of different preferences in how residents introduce themselves
