I build a thing ;-) Expected on Packagist later today. TL;DR: use PHPUnit 9 assertions/expectations and get your tests running on PHPUnit 5.7 - 9. 🎉 Intended for projects stuck with old PHP/PHPUnit versions now running into problems testing on PHP 8.
