Bernie Sanders
Over and over again, Republicans say we cannot possibly afford to make health care a right through a Medicare-for-all program. But when it comes to spending $716 billion on the military, all of a sudden there's deafening silence from my Republican colleagues about the deficit.

I would say the safety of our country is more important than giving everyone “free” healthcare. I’m okay with paying to make sure Sally is safe going to and from work. I’m not okay with paying for fat Jerry’s health issues. Then waiting in line for 2 years for a checkup.

Yes, Bernie, that's how it works. We have to spend lots of money so that we can hold off the countries that want to violate you for your ignorance and ineptitude.

I have Kaiser and have waited 6mo and counting to get a specialist appointment for my child...I’m sure that would improve with Government controlling healthcare.
