Better trade Willy for spare parts because they can't afford to sit him.

Yeah the 2018-19 St. Louis Blues can't lose 2-0 to the 2018-19 L.A. Kings after the start they've had.

I think Batherson is a versatile offensive guy who just "gets it". He knows where to be and he has a nose for the net. His scoring rates are huge, but not unsustainable, he's just a surprising case, so there might be some bias against him. No reason he shouldn't be an NHLer.

Literally as soon as Nylander signs or sits, the Toronto media is going to not shut the heck up about trading Marner for a defenseman until he signs an extension and it's going to be horrible.

From what I've seen, he's been playing much more held back than usual. He's still young, and he was one of the best defenders for his age in the AHL last year, but he and Valimaki are well behind most of that team.

He hasn't played a single game in the AHL in his career yet. A 1st round pick offensive defenseman shouldn't be playing bottom pair minutes. Even scaling for points per 60 minutes on the ice, he and Andersson are 6/7 on the team. If they aren't ready, they aren't ready.

holy cow juuso valimaki has two points through 19 games? If that guy isn't producing, he's not in the right fit. His possession seems fine enough, and he's shooting his shots, but he's always struck me as a more daring offensive type.

I really liked how Ferguson played yesterday for the Marlies. Really quick skater who seemed to really bring it every shift. He seemed like a mini-Trevor Moore, especially when he had the puck.

Sp I already have this, but it's a bit out of date now. When I last pulled ES CHL/USHL scoring data, the top-10: t-1) Dach/Struthers - 23.6 3) Byram - 23.3 4) Kaliyev - 21.6 5) Suzuki - 20.6 6) Hamaliuk - 19.9 7) Krebs - 19.2 8) Kaid Oliver - 18.3 t-9) D-Jay Jerome/Korczak - 18

Yeah, these are age adjusted. This takes into account a player's involvement in team offense as a whole. Topping is up at 43.8% while Kastelic is a 37%. Kastelic is much better at even strength though, so I may incorporate an ES-only version where applicable.
