We can roam anywhere in the EU inclusive and put a local SIM in elsewhere.

Did it in store. Got a reference to where you see the charges? Can't see how they can do that with a 30 day contract. Everyone at the store was happy with what I did.

I did talk about that in the thread...

Bought the unit upfront on the 30 day rolling contract, immediately cancelled it and and signed up for their unlimited 5G SIM only plan. Exactly the same thing but £32/mo instead of £50/mo.

Phone line is still WAN at home tough I'd love to hook this in and split! I will be travelling with this device a lot.

In 5G areas it's well over 1,000! I'm at home with poor 4G reception and it's still doing pretty well. Probably not a fair comparison to look at my speeds here.

It's pretty good on features, better than most ISP routers I've seen!

As Kev says, it will go to 4G (but not 2G/3G) if needed. I'm not in the best area but it's still pretty good.

I'm basically in a field here 🤣 Sheffield has 5G too iirc, you'd get some serious speed!

Inevitably there must be a hit I'd say, but then again on 5G I'm pulling about 1.2Gbps so I should be ok 😎

Yeah, take a look at the Huawei SmartHome app which you use to control it, it's fairly full featured. Better than most standard ISP routers I've had!

Main use for me will be travel when I'm doing the TLS or HYF training. Unplug the device, take it with me, plug it in. Gives me fast WiFi for everyone, no filters/limits or slow speeds that are common in offices and hotels. That alone is worth it for me!

Yep, that's basically what I did. Get it on the 30 day rolling contract and cancel on the spot. Get the device for £325 and it's not network locked either!

That said, I say it's not so good but it's still pretty fast even at home!
