Tony Evers’ running mate says “Take a knee.” Does Evers share that belief or does he believe that everyone should STAND UP for the national anthem out of respect for our Veterans and service members?pic.twitter.com/0zT9X4tO7H

Whether they kneel or stay in the locker room, it’s disrespectful to the flag and the men and women who fought to defend it including those who are part of Wisconsin’s National Guard.
Where does Tony Evers stand on this? #StandUpTony
As a candidate for governor, does Tony Evers support NFL players blatantly disrespecting our flag and the Wisconsin men and women in uniform? If he wants to be the leader of our state, he owes them an answer. #StandUpTony
I will always support our men and women in uniform. The request is simple: stand for the American flag and the national anthem out of respect for those who risk their lives for our freedoms.

You don’t know what they’re protesting, do you? It’s not the flag or servicepeople. It’s police brutality against unarmed black people. An episode happened in Milwaukee just yesterday.
He knows. He just doesn’t care. Not for victims of police brutality or for soldiers or vets.
I’m a Veteran and it’s ok to take a knee. Kneeling is a sign of respect. It’s not about the flag. It’s about racial inequality.....if you would visit our prisons you might get a better understanding of the situation

I don’t know a single current or former service member that actually takes offense by this peaceful protest. It’s people and politicians like yourself that think you know how people should act that pushes this agenda. Your boyfriend Donny should’ve left it alone
@GovWalker, if you want to engage in a genuine discussion about the @NFL players' protests against police violence against black citizens, please do so. #WI would like to hear it. But stop pretending you don't understand what the protests are about. It's so tired.
