North Qlders should be very proud of this world-class Townsville Stadium which is being built by locals. 700+ jobs during construction alone. Great to see progress today and looking forward to Elton John and the 2020 NRL season opener next year!

Today I visited MMG’s Dugald River Mine. Dugald River is a zinc and lead mine with around 500 workers on site - around half of them are people who live in . It was also one of the first mines to get its operational licence from the Palaazczuk Government.

Welcome home to our great Qld Anzac ambassadors - the 2019 Premier’s Anzac Prize students. They’ve just returned from a lifechanging 16 day trip to London, France & Belgium where they experienced the Anzac tradition firsthand & commemorated fallen soldiers.

The Palaszczuk Government has made a $100 million payment (part of a $225 million commitment) towards the water pipeline project for our great city. Townsville City Council is managing the state-funded project, which will feed more water from the Burdekin into Ross River Dam.

This photo demonstrates what a superb athlete is. At what point do the trolls forget about Dolly Everett? Shame on them and well done women’s sport. Let’s celebrate more role models like Tayla and call out the trolls as grubs.

What a fantastic day on my Yamaha in the ‘Ride for Relief’ event, finishing up at the Mansfield Hotel. Every single dollar raised will go towards flood relief. I’ll wear the badge with pride for many years to come.
