I miss Johnny because he made fun of everyone regardless of party affiliation. it was all about humor for him
Leno was pretty solid too. I mean he had his favorites but that didn’t stop him. It all went downhill after he left.
I also love that his digs were not hate-filled (like they often are today) and were directed at both sides of the aisle. A fine Nebraskan, that Johnny Carson.
I miss Johnny Carson and to some extent that Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. Because basically, as far as the monologue or their humor went on the show, there were no sacred cows.
