Definite increase in proactive testing and an overall capture rate that more accurately reflects the true number infected. In March and April our capture rate was very low

True, and testing more healthy people may give the illusion of improving infection rates or better recoveries. It’s an awful mess.

Covid is a statistical nightmare - the interplay of type of test, timing of test, population tested, classification of sick and dead, lethality, mode of transmission, treatments, demographics, erratic state reporting.... interpreting the curves in real time is difficult.

To pile onto the confusion, the FDA just revoked a bunch of tests due to their inability to hold up to accuracy standards in their original submissions for emergency use
