The Constitutional Court itself does not review compliance with the judgement. If the plaintiffs have doubts, they can apply for a so-called enforcement order to be issued. A spokesman for the court said one such order has already been received and is being reviewed.

Bonds of serial defaulter rally after $65bn restructuring deal. The country’s $3bn of bonds due 2048 climbed more than 3 cents to 47 cents on the dollar as creditors have said the deal is worth about 55 cents on the dollar.

balance sheet hit fresh ATH at €6,360.8bn as Lagarde keeps printing press rumbling. Total assets rose by another €9.4bn on QE. Balance sheet now equal to 61% of GDP if GDP is calculated on a rolling basis over the last 4 quarters.

Serial defaulter and its largest creditors (incl BlackRock, Ashmore, Fidelity) struck deal to restructure $65bn of debt, setting stage for it to emerge from its 3rd default since turn of century. The deal is worth about 54.8 cents on the dollar.

ECB continues to favor Italy w/bond purchases, breakdown of PEPP purchases shows. In Jun/Jul biggest overbuying Italy(€5.2bn), Spain(1.8bn), Greece(0.7bn). Didn't come completely at expense of France, as was case Mar-May. In Germany under-buying was largest at 2.5bn. (Chart BoA)
